Corporate Finance
- Our broad-based expertise covers public company work, share transactions and investor shareholder agreements, reconstructions and joint ventures, MBOs, MBIs, public to private transactions and corporate reorganisations.
Banking and Finance
- We act for both lenders and borrowers on corporate banking facilities, aquisition finance and asset and property based secured lending transactions.
Franchising
- We enable organisations to introduce their franchise operations both in the UK and overseas, working closely with a number of specialist European lawyers.
IT and E-commerce
- This fast developing area of our work includes working for sellers and licensors of technology and intellectual property as well as all other businesses and many individuals who buy technology and rely upon it in their daily lives. We help with software licensing, systems contracts and outsourcing, data protection, e-commerce and all other issues concerning technology and intellectual property.
Healthcare
- We provide a wide range of legal services, including advice on corporate transactions and commercial contracts, to a large number of clients in the healthcare sector ranging from FTSE 100 companies to individual consultants and doctors’ practices.
Employment
- We advise clients on key employment issues and deal with matters such as employment tribunal proceedings, unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy and breach of contract.
Aviation, Freight and Logistics
- We advise clients in the airline industry, particularly overseas, on issues such as the acquisition and sale of aircraft and all funding-related matters. In addition, we act for a number of air cargo, freight and logistics firms, providing advice on commercial contracts, outsourcing arrangements and legal issues specific to the sector.
EU and International Law
- Our close associations with lawyers and clients throughout the world enable us to monitor and advise on developments in EU and international law.
Commercial
- Our expert Commercial Department advises on all forms of commercial agreements, including joint venture, agency, distributor and other bespoke agreements, which often involve matters of an international flavour.
Partnerships
- We act for partnerships in all areas of professional practice, from mergers, demergers and strategic alliances to partnership disputes and the departure of partners.
