Oliver advises clients on a wide range of commercial disputes and on insolvency.

Oliver has advised clients on disputes concerning distribution, agency and franchise agreements, restraint of trade covenants, partnership disputes, directors' duties, product liability and on jurisdiction and choice of law. Oliver is also experienced in enforcing judgments, including overseas judgments and in obtaining injunctions for the preservation and recovery of assets.

Oliver is also a specialist in insolvency litigation. He regularly acts for creditors and insolvency practitioners both in relation to the realisation of assets and tracing claims, including claims against directors. Oliver advises companies and individuals on insolvency. He also advises in relation to directors disqualification.

Fiona McAllister – Partner

Fiona McAllister – Partner

 

Practice Area: Dispute Resolution
Fiona is head of the Dispute Resolution Department which incorporates within it the firm’s Employment Law Unit. With many years experience dealing with commercial and private disputes.

Fiona particularly deals with disputes between shareholders and on breach of restrictive covenants. She has a post graduate diploma in advanced legal practice taken in the specialist field of employment law, and practices in both contentious and non-contentious aspects of this area of law, advising primarily corporate clients and senior executives.

Fiona also appears in the Legal 500 as a recommended lawyer for Commercial Litigation.

Stephen Morris – Partner

Stephen Morris – Partner

 

Practice Area: Dispute Resolution
Stephen heads the Property Disputes team, which deals with a broad range of issues arising out of the ownership, letting and occupation of commercial and residential property. His aim is to work closely with businesses and private clients to identify their objectives and strive to achieve them in the most appropriate and cost-effective manner, whether that be through litigation or negotiation. He has trained as a mediator.

Stephen also deals with disputes in respect of wills, probate and trusts and advises on professional negligence claims arising out of his specialist practice areas.

Chris joined the firm in December 2007 from a well-known firm on the South Coast where Chris had experience and responsibility for cases through to personal court appearances particularly in property related litigation.

Chris now looks forward to developing his skills in such diverse areas as insolvency and contentious probate, as well as more general commercial litigation as part of Mundays’ Dispute Resolution team.

James specialises in handling commercial disputes including matters involving, Intellectual Property, IT, franchising, defamation and general contracts.

James recently completed a postgraduate diploma in commercial intellectual property at Nottingham Trent University, where he was awarded a distinction.

A keen sportsman, he has a particular interest in all sports law related affairs, including contract disputes and sponsorship. James has a postgraduate diploma in sports law from Kings College University, London.
