Mundays Advise Alliance Unichem plc - September 2003

 

MUNDAYS, the Surrey Solicitors advised ALLIANCE UNICHEM PLC, the healthcare provider and its retail pharmacy subsidiary E MOSS LIMITED on the acquisition of nine pharmacies;

1. DAVID TANNER LIMITED, a pharmacy retailer operating in Hamilton, Scotland. Glasgow Solicitors MacRoberts (led by Neil Cunningham and Orla Murphy) advised the vending shareholders. The Mundays' team was led by Peter Munday and Lorna Palmer on the Corporate aspects with Edinburgh Solicitors Burness acting on the property side.

2. J J RUSSELL LIMITED, a pharmacy retailer operating in Cambuslang, Scotland. Glasgow Solicitors Donaldson Alexander Russell & Haddow (led by Kenneth Gibb) advised the vending shareholders. The Mundays' team was led by Peter Munday and Lorna Palmer on the Corporate aspects with Edinburgh Solicitors Burness acting on the property side.

3. L STEVENSON (CHEMISTS) LIMITED, a pharmacy retailer operating in Coventry. Coventry Solicitors Varley Hibbs (led by Sean Byrne) advised the vending shareholders. The Mundays' team was led by Peter Munday and Lorna Palmer (Corporate) and Fiona Marsh (Commercial Property).

4. GRASSINGTON PHARMACY of Grassington, Skipton, Yorks; W G WILSON PHARMACY of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria; NEW ROAD PHARMACY of Armitage, Rugeley, Staffs; ASH PHARMACY of Ash, Canterbury, Kent; CHAPMANS CHEMIST of Taunton, Somerset and ST THOMAS PHARMACY of Exeter, Devon. The acquisitions were of retail pharmacies and were handled by Simon Withers and Robert Harris.
