Mundays Appoints New Solicitors - January 2004

 

MUNDAYS, the Surrey Solicitors, are pleased to announce the appointment of three new Solicitors Patricia Riley, Shelley Blythe and Kate Galloway-Hale.

Patricia joins the Private Wealth Department, to deal exclusively with capital tax planning, and creative advice on wills and related work.

After 11 years qualifying and working as a surveyor, and then bringing up a family, Patricia returned to professional life in a new guise, as a trainee solicitor and then after qualifying, as a senior private client lawyer in respected firms in London and the South East.

Ray Walley, head of the department, said, "Patricia brings enormous experience to her role in advising private clients. By not getting embroiled in probate and trust administration, she can work quickly in setting up the structures people need, often at short notice. She enables the Department to grow much more quickly, by relieving the pressure on the other members of the team, and is a building block in our strategy to create further strength in depth."

Shelley a newly qualified solicitor joins the Corporate & Commercial Department. Shelley will specialise in intellectual property and technology contracts, data protection and e-commerce.

Valerie Toon, Technology and Intellectual Property Partner, said, "Shelley trained at a top London practice and gained plenty of experience in intellectual property during that time. Her appointment compliments our team, in line with our strategy of growth through the appointment of quality personnel".

Kate joins the Property Department as a professional support lawyer. Prior to joining Mundays Kate worked in a large City firm.

Simon Withers, head of Property, said "The employment of a professional support lawyer will greatly assist the future successful expansion of the Department. It will ensure that our fee-earners have the benefit of high quality information and precedent systems necessary to maintain an expert and efficient service to clients.
