Mundays Expands Further - July 2004

 

MUNDAYS, the Surrey Solicitors, are pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Duckworth to Partner. The practice now has 19 partners.

Sarah will be well known to the many Mundays clients she has acted for since joining the practice 18 months ago as a specialist in family related law.

Head of Family, Graham Coy, said "Sarah is a very experienced and valuable member of the Department. She has lived and worked as a solicitor locally for a number of years, and we are delighted to see Sarah join the Partnership".

MUNDAYS are also pleased to announce the recent appointments of Karl Hughes and Mark Cowling.

Karl joins the Property Department as a Solicitor. He will undertake a wide range of commercial property work including secured lending and corporate support. Prior to joining Mundays Karl spent 5 years at City firm Lovells.

Simon Withers, head of Property, said "I am delighted to add to the team another ambitious young solicitor from such a strong background".

Mark joins the Corporate & Commercial Department as Intellectual Property and Contracts Executive. Mark will undertake a variety of commercial work with emphasis on trade-marks, intellectual property and technology contracts, data protection and e-commerce. Mark returned from practice as a solicitor at a top tier New Zealand firm to join a large corporate in the UK before coming to Mundays

Valerie Toon, Technology and Intellectual Property Partner, said, "Mark's technical knowledge gained in a leading practice, coupled with his practical first hand experience within a corporate environment is just what we were looking for. I am confident that he will prove to be a great asset".

Since its move to corporate headquarters at Cedar House in Cobham in 2002 Mundays has continued to expand. The practice now has 114 staff on the premises, making it one of the largest legal practices in the region, with six separate departments offering the full range of advice to clients in everything from commercial to personal services.

Mundays is a substantial regional practice, with notable corporate & commercial and property expertise together with a full range of private client services, including family, private wealth, dispute resolution and employment.
