Mundays Advise Alliance Unichem Plc

 

Mundays, the Surrey solicitors recently advised Alliance Unichem Plc, the healthcare provider and its retail pharmacy subsidiary E Moss Limited on the following acquisitions:

1. BAIRDS CHEMISTS, E A BAIRD & CO AND E A BAIRD (N'ARDS) LIMITED the largest chain of pharmacies in Northern Ireland (with a branch in Stanraer, Scotland) with 51 outlets and a wholesale operation based in Belfast.

The Mundays team was led by Peter Munday and Rachel Fitzpatrick (Corporate) assisted by Belfast solicitors C&H Jefferson whose team was led by Mark Tinman (Commercial Property) and Ken Rutherford (Corporate). The Scottish elements of the transaction were handled by Tamar Tammes of Edinburgh solicitors Burness.

The Vending Shareholders were represented by Belfast firm L'Estrange & Brett whose team was led by Paul McBride (Corporate) and Dawson McConkey (Commercial Property).

2. H B NESS LIMITED, the retail pharmacy company operating in Airdrie, Scotland.

The Mundays team was led by Peter Munday (Corporate) with Scottish solicitor Tamar Tammes of Burness advising on the Commercial Property elements of the acquisition.

Glasgow solicitors Maxwell MacLaurin led by Peter Duff advised the ending Shareholders.
