Mundays Appoint New Partner – February 2006

Mundays LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Andrew as a partner in the firm’s corporate department.

Mark specializes in general corporate and finance work, and has particular expertise in private equity and debt securities work for investors and issuers. His practice involves general corporate and commercial advice to companies in a variety of sectors, as well as more specialized advice on banking and finance matters and debt restructurings. He is highly regarded by financial institutions for which he has acted on both sides of the Atlantic.

Mark is dual-qualified in the US and the UK, and joins from the London office of the US firm Bingham McCutchen LLP. Mark qualified in the US in 1985. Apart from a three-year stint with Cors & Bassett in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1996 to 1999, he had been with Bingham McCutchen since qualification.

Mark joins fellow American Larry Leporte, who is also dual-qualified and heads the Mundays corporate department. Commenting on Mark’s appointment, Larry said “We’re hugely excited about Mark joining us. It means we now have seven partners and a total of 16 lawyers in our corporate and commercial practice. He will add significant depth to our corporate and finance capabilities, and his appointment underscores Mundays’ position as a leading regional commercial law firm.”
