Mundays Advise Allied Irish Bank (GB) - April 2007

MUNDAYS LLP recently advised Allied Irish Bank (GB) on a funding facility totalling £10,000,000 (ten million pounds) to Sussex Waste and Energy Limited and associated borrowers.

Sussex Waste to Energy Limited required funding to finance the building of a plant in Lancing West Sussex which would burn light industrial waste to generate four megawatts of electricity hourly 24 hours a day 365 days a year for sale to the power companies.

The Mundays team was led by partner Richard Powell assisted by partners Sue Scott, Mark Andrew and construction specialist Nik Haria.

Sussex Waste to Energy Limited and associated borrowers were represented by Thomas Eggar Solicitors. The team was lead by partner Jeremy Wootton and assisted by Lucy Robson assistant solicitor and partner Mark Clinton who advised on the construction aspects.
