Mundays in the Community
Mundays' Schools Initiative
We are proud to have launched and developed Mundays’ Schools Initiative.
A vibrant team of junior and trainee solicitors regularly visit local schools and colleges to talk to students about a career in law, what life is like as a solicitor and the impact of the law in everyday life. Our team has worked with individual classes up to whole of year groups, engaging with students ranging in age from 14 to 18.
To continue our relationship with the schools and colleges we have visited, we also offer a limited number of opportunities for students to visit our offices in Cobham to participate in afternoon mock trials. The experience aims to provide a fun but insightful exposure to court practice.
If you would like any further information about Mundays’ Schools Initiative please email Rachel Lemon or Daniel Stone, or call 01932 590500 and ask to speak to Rachel or Daniel.

Mundays has for many years supported a number of good causes in the local community. One policy is to promote youth development in sport and as a result we have recently provided funds to a range of local projects some of which are listed here.

Oxshott Village Sports Club
Oxshott Village Sports Club is well-known for the diversity of sport it offers and is keen to increase its facilities further. Originally a site for cricket when it was first established over 100 years ago, the club now offers nine sports including: archery, bridge, bowls, football, netball, petanque, squash and tennis. As a multi sports club, it was recently nominated by Sport England to be a Surrey 'Pathfinder club', part of a Government scheme to encourage people to become more involved in sport. Plans are now underway to develop an all round sports programme to improve the general well-being of the local community. Financial support from Mundays is very important to the club and is channeled towards developing a number of coaching programmes to support its junior teams.
