Alex Young - Senior Associate
Alex specialises in all aspects of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures including shareholder and LLP agreements and general corporate advice.
He is also a member of the Mundays Insolvency Group (including experience in advising on pre-pack liquidations and selling assets for liquidators) and Healthcare Group (having experience of buying and selling pharmacies).
Alex joined Mundays’ Corporate Department in December 2004. Prior to joining Mundays, Alex was a solicitor in the London office of a large US law firm, as well as a West End boutique corporate law firm.
Recent Experience
- Advising Vestatec UK Limited, a company specialising in automotive engineering distributorship, design and manufacture, on its corporate arrangements, including acquisitions of an interest in an air coolants business and sale of automotive navigation tool and electronics business.
- Advising Octagon, a luxury residential and commercial property developer, on its reorganisation, including the investment by new shareholders and banking arrangements.
- Advising the shareholders of Kem Edwards Limited, an industry leader in the supply of tools, fixing and site equipment, on their sale to Sig plc.
- Advising the UK subsidiary of a Spanish company, Cosentino, on the sale of its interest in a company which manufactures and distributes stone products.
