Oliver Jackson - Senior Associate
Oliver advises commercial and private clients in a wide range of disputes, from debt collection to asset recovery and fraud. Oliver has, for a number of years, been a specialist in insolvency and business recovery. He advises companies and individuals on all aspects of insolvency and has acted for insolvency practitioners throughout the South East in the protection and realisation of assets for creditors.
As part of Mundays' logistics group, Oliver is a specialist in logistics and freight forwarding disputes. He is also a specialist in construction law and adjudications.
Oliver also has considerable experience in giving advice in relation to directors' duties and disqualification of directors, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, asset tracing, retention of title claims, restrictive covenants in commercial contracts, agency and distribution agreements, product liability, passing off, tax disputes, cross-border insolvency and enforcement of judgments.

Oliver's recent cases have included:
Insolvency
- Acting for liquidators or administrators making claims against debtors and/or recovering assets. Also recently acting for a group of directors facing substantial claims for the recovery of dividends and directors' loans
- Acting for a trustee in bankruptcy in a substantial claim against a bankrupt and connected persons after the dissipation of property, funds and other assets prior to bankruptcy, involving applications for the examination of the bankrupt, the setting aside of transactions at an undervalue, a declaration as to the title of property and an income payments order.
Logistics
- Successfully defending a substantial claim brought against a leading global freight forwarding company after a high value piece of oil exploration equipment was damaged whilst in international transit.
- Frequently advising on disputes where issues of lien and bailment arise.
Construction
- Acting for house builders and other construction companies in a wide range of disputes with experience of conducting a number of adjudications on their behalf.
Fraud/Injunctions
- Acting for a house builder in a substantial claim against an individual seeking to defraud the company. This involved the obtaining of an injunction for the freezing of the defendant's assets.
