Oxshott Village Sports Club
Oxshott Village Sports Club is well-known for the diversity of sport it offers and is keen to increase its facilities further. Originally a site for cricket when it was first established over 100 years ago, the club now offers nine sports including: archery, bridge, bowls, football, netball, petanque, squash and tennis.
As a multi sports club, it was recently nominated by Sport England to be a Surrey 'Pathfinder club', part of a Government scheme to encourage people to become more involved in sport. Plans are now underway to develop an all round sports programme to improve the general well-being of the local community. Financial support from Mundays is very important to the club and is channelled towards developing a number of coaching programmes to support its junior teams.
