Ripieno Choir
Thirty singers based in Esher, the Ripieno Choir directed by David Hansell sings sacred and secular music, with an emphasis on the early, in a repertoire that ranges from plainsong to now – with baroque orchestras or a cappella. A versatile group, with tours to Belgium, France, Holland, USA, South Africa – and others planned.
Mundays has sponsored the choir for over 8 years and this year looks forward to sponsoring the annual Supper Party on Saturday 18th June, 7.30pm at The Menuhin Hall, Stoke d'Abernon, Surrey.
The event includes songs from William Byrd’s 1611 publication of Psalmes, Songs and Sonnets. Guests will be Chordophony, the only professional lute quartet in the world!
